Experienced Plasterer in Akron, Ohio


We are currently seeking an experienced Plasterer to join our team in Akron, Ohio. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster and other materials to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces in order to create a smooth and durable finish.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning and sanding them
- Measure and mix ingredients to create the desired consistency of plaster
- Apply coats of plaster onto surfaces using a trowel or spray gun
- Smooth out imperfections and ensure a level surface using hand tools
- Install corner beads and repair damaged areas before applying plaster
- Sand down dried plaster to create a smooth finish
- Apply decorative finishes such as stucco or textured patterns as requested by clients

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Plasterer
- Knowledge of different types of plasters and their uses
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Physical strength and stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Good communication skills
- Must have own tools
- Must be willing to work full time with occasional overtime

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1200 per month. Higher salary can be offered based on experience and skills.
