Mason - Contract Position (Lahore, Pakistan)



We are in need of a skilled and reliable Mason to join our team on a contract basis in Lahore, Pakistan. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and repairing structures such as walls, floors, patios, and chimneys using various materials such as stone, brick, and concrete.

Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine project specifications
- Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work according to the plans
- Mix cement, sand, and water to create mortar or grout for laying bricks or stones
- Lay bricks or stones in rows or patterns using mortar as binding agent
- Cut or shape bricks using hand tools or power saws
- Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones
- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete using trowels or other tools
- Clean excess mortar from finished work before it hardens

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Skilled in mixing mortar and laying bricks/stones according to specifications
- Knowledge of different masonry techniques and materials
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail for precise measurements
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Good communication skills

Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in masonry is preferred.

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is 1700$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in the city of Lahore, Pakistan.

Contract Job:
This is a contract position with an expected duration of 6 months. There is potential for extension based on project needs.
