Commercial Architect



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team in Lisbon. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings such as offices, retail spaces, and hotels. You will collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop creative solutions that meet their requirements while adhering to building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand their project requirements and budget
- Develop design plans for commercial buildings, incorporating functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability
- Create detailed drawings and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the feasibility and safety of designs
- Prepare project proposals, timelines, and cost estimates
- Monitor the progress of construction projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements
- Conduct site visits to inspect construction progress and resolve any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience as a Commercial Architect or similar role (minimum 5 years)
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD software
- Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction techniques
- Excellent design skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with various professionals from different disciplines
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Portuguese is preferred but not required)
