Tiler - Tile Setter for Residential and Commercial Properties in Utena, Canada

We are a well-established construction company in Utena, Canada, seeking an experienced Tiler to join our team. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces in both residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled
- Prepare surfaces by removing old tiles, filling cracks and leveling uneven surfaces
- Cut tiles to the desired size and shape using hand or power tools
- Install tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces using cement, mortar or adhesive
- Ensure tiles are properly aligned and leveled
- Apply grout between tiles to fill gaps
- Seal tile installations to prevent moisture penetration
- Repair or replace damaged tiles as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tiler or Tile Setter
- Experience working with various types of tile materials such as ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to work in various positions and lift heavy materials
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Salary: $1300 per month
