Android Developer


We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Shan, India. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. Your primary focus will be developing user-friendly and efficient applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Android Developer or similar role
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with third-party libraries such as Retrofit, OkHttp, Picasso/Glide etc.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- Experience working with Git version control system
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
-Minimum 2 years of experience in Android app development
-Demonstrated portfolio of published apps on the Play Store

We offer a competitive salary package of $1300 per month along with accommodation. This is a full-time position but we are open to considering flexible part-time arrangements.
