Data Mining Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Mining Analyst to join our team in St. Petersburg. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends and insights. Your role will involve using advanced tools and techniques to extract valuable information from various sources and present it in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct data mining activities using statistical software and programming languages
- Identify relevant data sources and gather information from them
- Develop data models and algorithms to analyze large datasets
- Use data visualization tools to present findings in a visually appealing manner
- Collaborate with team members to understand business needs and provide actionable insights
- Communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders through reports and presentations
- Continuously monitor data quality, validate accuracy of results, and troubleshoot any issues that arise

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proven experience in data mining, analysis, or similar role
- Proficient in statistical software such as R, Python or SAS
- Familiarity with SQL databases and query languages
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to present complex findings in an easy-to-understand manner
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques is a plus

Salary: 1100$ per month
