We are hiring an experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Siauliai, Lithuania. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus according to seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow and high standards of food safety
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a hotel or upscale restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine with the ability to create authentic dishes
- Ability to manage a team with strong leadership skills
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Fluency in English is required
