Junior Architectural Designer

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Junior Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team in Almada. As a Junior Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of architectural projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with senior designers and architects to develop innovative and functional designs that meet client requirements and adhere to building codes and regulations. Your main duties will include conducting research, creating detailed drawings and models, attending client meetings, and collaborating with other design professionals.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Architecture or a related field and at least one year of experience in an architectural firm. Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit is essential. Familiarity with building codes, construction methods, materials, and techniques is also required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior designers with developing project concepts and designs
- Conduct research on materials, building codes, and construction methods
- Create detailed drawings, models, renderings, and presentations
- Attend client meetings to discuss project requirements
- Collaborate with other design professionals such as engineers and contractors
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of one year of experience in an architectural firm
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit
- Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, materials, and techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Almada, Portugal (candidates with EU citizenship or valid work permit preferred)
