Entry-Level Surveyor

As an Entry-Level Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting in the measurement and mapping of land, buildings, and other features using specialized equipment. Your duties will include setting up and operating surveying instruments, collecting data, and preparing reports. You will work closely with experienced surveyors to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in this field. This position is based in Lisbon but may require occasional travel to different locations.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting surveys to determine property boundaries or topographical information
- Use surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels to collect data
- Record accurate measurements and data in the field
- Prepare reports, maps, and sketches based on collected data
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Work with team members to complete projects within designated timelines
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Follow all safety procedures while working on job sites

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations and GPS receivers
- Knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and practices
- Excellent mathematical skills for accurate measurement calculations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to record precise data
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Good physical fitness for walking long distances over rough terrain
- Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing

Salary:
