Cashier
We are a bustling retail store located in the vibrant city of Al-Khor and we are seeking a dedicated and customer service-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Scanning items, processing payments, and providing change
- Bagging purchases and ensuring proper handling of fragile items
- Answering customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area at all times
- Keeping track of inventory levels and restocking shelves when needed
- Following company policies and procedures for cash handling and returns
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)
- Basic math skills to accurately process transactions
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month, with opportunities for growth within the company. This position is open to both Canadians living abroad and foreigners looking for employment opportunities in Al-Khor. Please note that this is a part-time position without accommodation provided.
