Crane Operator - Braga, Portugal

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of cranes to lift and move heavy materials and equipment at our job site.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes according to job site requirements
- Ensure safe operation of the crane by following all safety protocols and regulations
- Inspect the crane before each use to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication to coordinate lifts
- Rig loads for lifting using appropriate equipment such as slings, chains, or hooks
- Follow all load capacity guidelines and ensure proper positioning of the load on the crane
- Keep accurate records of daily activities including hours worked and materials lifted
- Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the crane

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid crane operator certification or license
- Good knowledge of different types of cranes and their functions
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations
- Good physical condition with the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
- Good communication skills

We offer a competitive salary of $1800 per month for this contract position. As this is an own visa job, candidates must have their own valid visa to work in Portugal. Accommodation will not be provided.
