Milling Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Split, Croatia. The ideal candidate should have previous experience operating milling machines and be able to read technical drawings and blueprints. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating the machine to produce precision parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine work procedures
- Set up the milling machine by adjusting tools, speed, and feed rates
- Operate the machine to cut, shape, or form metal or plastic materials
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Milling Machine Operator
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Experience with various types of milling machines (horizontal, vertical, etc.)
- Knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and tool selection for different materials
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills in English

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with working hours from 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday. The job does not include accommodation but we can provide assistance with finding suitable housing. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. This is an urgent position so immediate availability is preferred.
