Junior Accountant in Mombasa, Kenya


We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Mombasa, Kenya. Responsibilities:
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Recording and reconciling financial transactions
- Preparing financial reports and statements
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies
- Supporting senior accountants with month-end and year-end close processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Prior experience not required, but candidates with internship or entry-level experience will be preferred

Salary:
Starting salary of $1800 per month.
