Blast Furnace Operator

A Blast Furnace Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnaces used in the production of iron and steel. This role involves monitoring and controlling the flow of raw materials into the furnace, ensuring proper temperatures are maintained, and troubleshooting any malfunctions or issues that may arise. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of furnace operations, be physically fit to handle the demands of this role, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate blast furnaces according to established procedures
- Monitor and adjust temperatures, pressures, and flow of materials
- Troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions with the furnace
- Maintain proper records of furnace operations
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with blast furnaces preferred but not required
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Basic understanding of furnace operations and maintenance procedures
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Location: Zagreb (Visa sponsorship available for foreigners)

Salary: Starting at $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
