Part-Time PHP Developer in Faro, Portugal


We are searching for a skilled part-time PHP Developer to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality for our web applications. You will also work closely with our team to maintain and improve existing code, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the best possible performance.

Requirements:
- Proficient in PHP programming language
- Experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
- Familiarity with SQL databases and database design
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Biometric passport or ability to obtain one

Responsibilities:
- Develop new features and functionality for our web applications using PHP and other relevant languages
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Optimize application performance through code optimization and caching strategies
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to bring ideas from concept to implementation
- Conduct thorough testing of developed features before deployment to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain existing codebase by making necessary updates or improvements as needed
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and incorporate new technologies into our projects when applicable

Salary:
As a part-time employee, you will receive a salary of 1400$ per month. Accommodation can also be provided if needed.

Location:
This position is based in Faro, Portugal. Candidates must have the ability to work legally in Portugal or have a biometric passport that allows them to obtain a work visa.
