Library Assistant - Siauliai, Lithuania


We are hiring a Library Assistant to join our team in Siauliai, Lithuania. This is a contract position with a salary of $1100 per month. As a Library Assistant, you will assist the Librarian in managing the library and providing services to patrons. This job does not require English proficiency and previous experience is not necessary. Accommodation will not be provided, but we will cover your visa and ticket expenses. Responsibilities:
- Assist Librarian with daily operations of the library
- Help patrons find books and other materials
- Check books in and out, collect fines, and process new library cards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of library shelves
- Assist with cataloging and processing new materials
- Provide basic technical support for library computers and printers
- Promote library programs and services to patrons

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic computer skills (training provided for specific software used in the library)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Physical ability to lift boxes of books (up to 25lbs)
