Part-Time Librarian (Faisalabad, Pakistan)
Are you a passionate book lover with a knack for organization and research? We are seeking a part-time Librarian to join our team in Faisalabad. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and maintaining our library collection, assisting patrons with reference inquiries, and implementing library programs and events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a library setting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong research and reference skills
- Proficient in using library management systems and online databases
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library collection including cataloging, shelving, and weeding out outdated materials
- Assist patrons with locating resources, answering reference questions, and providing recommendations for further reading
- Develop and implement library programs and events such as book clubs, story hours, and workshops
- Collaborate with other staff members to promote the library's resources and services to the community
- Keep up-to-date with new releases, bestsellers, and popular titles to ensure an engaging collection for patrons
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.
