Cashier (Contract) - Muharraq, Bahrain
We are in search of a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team on a contract basis in Muharraq, Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle high volumes of cash with accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
- Operate cash register and process transactions accurately
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure correct amounts
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling
- Keep track of inventory levels and inform management when supplies are running low
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are an asset)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
