Job Title: Pastry Chef


We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a renowned bakery in Clairvaux. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for baking and pastry making, as well as previous experience in a similar role. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries, cakes, and desserts that meet our high standards of quality. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with an attractive salary package.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to recipes
- Decorate pastries using various techniques to create visually appealing presentations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all food safety standards are met while handling ingredients and preparing food
- Train other kitchen staff on proper pastry techniques
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new pastry recipes
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role
- Excellent understanding of various baking techniques and pastry decoration methods
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new recipes and designs
- Time-management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong attention to detail and presentation skills
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Education:
A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred but not required. Relevant certifications from accredited culinary schools will also be considered.

Language:
Proficiency in English is required for this position.

Salary:
The salary for this role starts at 900$ per month.
