Live-In Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide personalized care for our elderly client in their home in Lisbon. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing companionship and emotional support. This is a contract job with accommodation provided, perfect for women looking for a fulfilling caregiving opportunity.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as directed by the client's doctor
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with the client
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Accompany the client on errands or appointments outside of the home
- Monitor the client's health and report any changes or concerns to the family or healthcare team

Requirements:
- Prior experience working as a caregiver or in a related field
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Knowledge of elderly care principles and techniques
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be able to live-in with the client for extended periods of time
