Job Title: Preservation Architect - Contract Position (Vilnius)
We are hiring a Preservation Architect for a contract position in Vilnius. This role is ideal for anyone with a passion for preserving historical buildings and structures, regardless of nationality or language skills. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for analyzing, planning, and overseeing the restoration and conservation of historic buildings in Vilnius. You will collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and gather information on the history of buildings to inform preservation plans
- Develop restoration plans that adhere to historic preservation guidelines
- Collaborate with contractors and construction teams to ensure accurate execution of plans
- Monitor progress of restoration projects and make adjustments as necessary
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project status
- Continuously educate yourself on new preservation techniques and materials
Requirements:
- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Architecture or a related field
- Previous experience in architectural preservation preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of historic preservation guidelines and techniques
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be legally eligible to work in Lithuania without sponsorship
Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
