Heritage Preservation Architect

Our architectural firm is seeking a talented and experienced Heritage Preservation Architect to join our team in Vilnius. As a preservation architect, you will be responsible for preserving historical buildings and structures while also ensuring they meet modern safety and accessibility standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to identify areas in need of preservation or restoration work
- Develop detailed preservation plans that consider the building's historical significance, current condition, and budget constraints
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the preservation plan is successfully executed
- Research and source materials that are historically accurate for restoration work
- Monitor the progress of restoration projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure compliance with preservation standards
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or questions they may have
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a preservation architect
- Extensive knowledge of historical architecture styles and techniques for preservation
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month based on experience and qualifications.
This is an urgent position so we are looking for candidates who are already residing in Vilnius with their own visa. Accommodation will not be provided.
