We are seeking a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Atlanta, USA. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, while ensuring they meet modern safety and accessibility standards. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural history, building materials, and construction techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site assessments of historic buildings to determine necessary preservation measures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for maintaining the structural integrity of buildings
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to oversee restoration projects
- Research historical documentation to ensure accuracy in restoration efforts
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals from local authorities for restoration projects
- Monitor progress of restoration projects and make adjustments as needed
- Ensure that all work adheres to preservation guidelines and standards set by regulatory organizations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in preservation architecture or related field
- Strong knowledge of architectural history, building materials, and construction techniques
- Experience working with historic buildings and structures
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
