Welder - Fabrication Specialist

This is a full-time position for a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist in Akron, USA. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints and work independently to fabricate and assemble metal parts according to specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams or schematics to determine layout procedures
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, tape measures or marking tools
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments together
- Inspect welded joints for accuracy, strength, and alignment
- Monitor welding processes to avoid overheating or warping of parts
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Skilled in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with welding tools and equipment such as grinders, drills, saws, etc.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification in Welding/Fabrication
- Additional certifications in specific welding techniques (MIG/TIG/Stick)
- Prior experience working with stainless steel or aluminum materials

Salary: $1100 per month. This is a full-time position with potential for overtime pay.
