Merchandiser Assistant
Our company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Merchandiser Assistant to join our team in Muscat. This position is suitable for individuals from Pakistan or Africa who have experience in the retail industry and are looking for a challenging role.
As a Merchandiser Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Merchandiser with various tasks such as product sourcing, inventory management, and visual merchandising. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Merchandiser in product sourcing and selection
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create appealing displays
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper product placement and availability
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, shipments, and quality control
- Assist with market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Coordinate with other departments such as marketing and sales to ensure effective product launches
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail merchandising or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic would be an advantage)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month. Accommodation will not be provided.
