Land Surveyor Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Land Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Las Vegas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for land surveying and a desire to learn and grow within the profession. As an assistant, you will work closely with our experienced land surveyors to assist in various tasks such as measuring and recording land boundaries, creating maps, and conducting research. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1800 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist senior land surveyors in conducting field surveys
- Measure and record property boundaries using various surveying equipment
- Help create maps and diagrams using computer software
- Conduct research on properties and land records
- Assist in maintaining surveying equipment
- Follow safety protocols while working on job sites

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency with computer software such as AutoCAD and GIS
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication skills (fluency in English preferred)
- Prior experience in land surveying is not required, but willingness to learn is essential
