Junior Barista

Are you passionate about coffee and looking to kickstart your career as a barista? Our coffee shop in Porto is seeking a Junior Barista to join our team. As a Junior Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, and specialty drinks. You will also be trained on how to operate our espresso machines and maintain cleanliness and organization in the coffee shop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with little or no experience in the industry to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills as a barista.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve various hot and cold beverages according to customer's preferences
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop
- Take orders from customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Suggest menu items based on customer's preferences
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Follow health and safety guidelines

Requirements:
- No previous experience required but some knowledge of coffee preparation is preferred
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Salary: $1500/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Porto, Portugal (Portuguese nationality preferred)
