Indian Chef


We are in search of a skilled Indian Chef to join our team in Nizwa. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking traditional Indian dishes and ensuring that they meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our kitchen staff to create a diverse and authentic Indian menu for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes such as curries, tandoori dishes, and biryanis
- Ensure all dishes are cooked to perfection and meet food safety standards
- Supervise kitchen staff to maintain high-quality standards and efficient operations
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Create new dishes and modify existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting
- Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and communicate with customers
- A creative mindset to develop new dishes while staying true to traditional flavors
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
