Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Faro. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems and improve our products and services.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions
- Evaluate and improve existing machine learning models
- Explore new data sources and techniques to improve model performance
- Communicate findings and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java or C++
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit-learn
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in developing machine learning models for real-world applications
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Strong mathematical background including statistics, linear algebra, calculus, etc.
