We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing and deploying machine learning models to solve complex business problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and implement solutions, and provide ongoing support. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in machine learning algorithms and techniques, as well as experience in programming languages such as Python or R. This is a contract job with accommodation provided and is suitable for freshers looking to kickstart their career in the field of machine learning.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to solve business problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions
- Conduct data analysis and pre-processing tasks
- Test model performance and make necessary improvements

- Stay updated on latest trends and advancements in the field of machine learning

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (supervised/unsupervised) and techniques (classification/regression/clustering)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with data manipulation tools like Pandas or SQL
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or Keras is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
