Indian Accountant - Contract Position in St. Petersburg
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian Accountant to join our team in St. Petersburg on a contract basis. As an Indian Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections
- Review and reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Handle any ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accountant in India or in an Indian-based company
- Knowledge of Indian accounting principles, tax laws, and regulations
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Tally)
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines
- Fluent in English (Russian language skills are a plus)
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this contract position. Please note that this is not a permanent role and accommodation will not be provided. Candidates must have their own valid work visa for Russia.
