Manual QA Engineer


As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual testing. This is a part-time position based in Svalbard, with a salary of 1400$. We are looking for candidates with experience in manual testing and a strong understanding of software development processes. This is a great opportunity for freshers to gain hands-on experience in the field of quality assurance.

Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing on software products to identify bugs and defects
- Develop and execute test cases and test plans
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure timely bug fixes and product improvements
- Document and report bugs and issues found during testing
- Work closely with product managers to understand user requirements and provide feedback on product functionality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 1+ years of experience in manual testing, preferably in a software development environment
- Strong knowledge of software development processes, including Agile methodology
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- ISTQB certification or equivalent
