Freelance Interpreter

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely interpretation services in person or remotely through video or phone calls
- Interpret between two or more languages, including but not limited to English, Portuguese, and any other language(s) specified by the client
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Adapt to different settings and topics, including business meetings, medical appointments, legal proceedings, and more
- Take notes and provide feedback to improve future interpretation services

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and Portuguese (additional languages are a plus)
- Proven experience as an interpreter in various settings
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret accurately and quickly
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and adaptability
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity
- Legal authorization to work as a freelance interpreter in Braga, Portugal
