Caregiver for Elderly - Sofia, Bulgaria


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide care for elderly individuals in their homes in Sofia, Bulgaria. As a Caregiver, your primary responsibility will be to provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders. You will also be responsible for monitoring the health and well-being of your clients and reporting any changes to their primary care provider.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a caregiver for elderly individuals
- Fluent in English
- Must be Indian national or have authorization to work in Bulgaria
- Able to work on a contract basis without accommodation provided
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle emergency situations calmly

Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Administer medication reminders as needed
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up living areas
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to their primary care provider
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities to promote mental stimulation and socialization
- Accompany clients on appointments or outings as needed
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate authorities

Skills:
- Compassionate and empathetic nature towards elderly individuals
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail when it comes to monitoring clients’ health status or following dietary restrictions
- Physical stamina to assist with lifting or transferring clients if needed

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training or certifications in caregiving is preferred.

Salary:
Starting salary is 1700$ per month, with potential for increase based on performance and length of employment.
