Contract Accountant - Ufa, Russia

We are hiring a Contract Accountant to join our team in Ufa, Russia. As a Contract Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports and statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an accountant and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with accounting regulations
- Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve any accounting issues or discrepancies
- Identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (Russian language skills are a plus)
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Biometric passport required for contract job
