Office Assistant - Braga, Portugal
We are hiring an Office Assistant to join our growing team in Braga, Portugal. As an Office Assistant, you will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks such as answering phone calls, organizing files and documents, scheduling appointments and meetings, and assisting with day-to-day office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Maintain contact lists
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Book travel arrangements for staff members
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
- Provide general support to visitors
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office assistant or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
