Caregiver Assistant

We are seeking a caring and compassionate Caregiver Assistant to join our team in Porto. As a caregiver assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to elderly or disabled individuals in their daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. This is a contract job with the opportunity for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions
- Help with medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
- Accompany clients on errands or doctor's appointments
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the supervising nurse or family members

Requirements:

- No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided
- A compassionate and patient attitude towards elderly or disabled individuals
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Portuguese fluency is a plus)
- Must have a valid work permit or be eligible for visa sponsorship
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Salary: $1000 per month
