Handywoman in Svalbard

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handywoman to join our team in Svalbard. As a Handywoman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, both inside and outside of buildings. This role requires strong knowledge and skills in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general repair work. You must also have excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct general repairs and maintenance tasks as assigned
- Perform carpentry work such as building shelves, repairing doors, and installing cabinets
- Handle plumbing tasks including fixing leaks and replacing faucets
- Complete electrical repairs such as changing light fixtures or outlets
- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed
- Troubleshoot issues and find solutions in a timely manner
- Communicate with tenants or clients to understand their needs and address any concerns they may have
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a handyman/woman or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of various repair techniques such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, etc.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Good physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively to find solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with tenants/clients in a professional manner

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month. Accommodation will be provided along with free visa sponsorship and airfare. This position is open for both men and women who are legally allowed to work in Svalbard.
