Part-Time Preservation Architect

A renowned architectural firm in Karachi is seeking a talented and passionate Part-Time Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will play a crucial role in preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures in the city.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting site visits to assess the condition of historical buildings and structures
- Researching the history, architecture, and materials of these buildings
- Creating detailed plans for preservation and restoration projects
- Collaborating with other architects, engineers, and contractors to execute preservation plans
- Ensuring that all preservation work adheres to local regulations and guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records of work progress and expenses
- Communicating with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns or questions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proven experience in preservation architecture or historic preservation projects (preferred)
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and guidelines for historic structures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other architectural design software (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in English (Urdu language proficiency is a plus)

This is a part-time position with flexible hours, making it suitable for students or individuals looking for additional work experience. We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month.
