Junior Android Developer
Location: Lahore, Pakistan


We are a fast-growing technology company seeking a highly motivated and innovative Junior Android Developer to join our team in Lahore. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Android applications, from concept to deployment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Android platform and experience with Java programming.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features for our Android applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise, ensuring high quality and performance of the apps.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the Android platform and implement new technologies to improve our apps.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces for our apps.
- Write clean, efficient code that follows best practices and coding standards.
- Continuously optimize app performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mobile development.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Android development.
- Proficient in Java, with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience working with remote data via RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Knowledge of common third-party libraries such as Retrofit, OkHttp, Picasso etc.
- Familiarity with Material Design guidelines and Google Play Store policies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
