Welder for Structural Fabrication in Svalbard



We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Svalbard. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing structural fabrication on various projects. This is a full-time job with a salary of $1000 per month and includes accommodation. We are looking for candidates who have experience working in welding and hold their own valid visa.

Responsibilities:
- Perform structural fabrication using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Measure and cut materials accurately according to project specifications
- Ensure all welding equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Welder in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Ability to operate welding equipment such as welders, grinders, torches, etc.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in Welding or related field
- Experience working on structural fabrication projects
- Familiarity with different types of metals such as steel, aluminum, etc.
