We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1700 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to blueprints or drawings
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Inspect and repair damaged framework or other structures
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Adhere to building codes and regulations set by the city

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Knowledge of different woodworking techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints and drawings accurately
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials when needed
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor environments
- High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in Carpentry from a vocational school or apprenticeship program
- Experience working with different types of wood and materials
- Experience with construction software such as SketchUp or AutoCAD
- Fluent in Norwegian
