Excavator Operator


We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Eldoret, Kenya. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move earth, rock, and other materials. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator equipment to dig trenches, foundations, and other construction projects
- Follow safety protocols and maintain safe working conditions at all times
- Inspect equipment before use and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Communicate with construction crew to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
- Maintain accurate records of daily activity, including fuel usage, material movement, and time spent on tasks
- Adhere to project specifications and plans for excavation work
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow

Requirements:
- Previous experience as an excavator operator preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to operate heavy machinery in a variety of weather conditions
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor as needed
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for project deadlines
