Preservation Architect


We are hiring a Preservation Architect to join our team in Mauren. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. Your duties will include conducting site assessments, developing preservation plans, overseeing construction projects, and ensuring compliance with historic preservation guidelines. This position requires excellent architectural skills and a strong understanding of historical preservation techniques. The ideal candidate will have a degree in architecture with a focus on historic preservation and at least 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct site assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans that adhere to historic guidelines and regulations
- Oversee construction projects to ensure preservation techniques are properly implemented
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project
- Research historical information and documents related to the building or structure being preserved
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for restoration work
- Monitor progress of restoration projects to ensure quality control
- Keep up-to-date with current trends and best practices in historic preservation

Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture with a focus on Historic Preservation (Master's degree preferred)
- At least 5 years of experience working as an architect specializing in historic preservation
- Strong understanding of historical preservation techniques and regulations
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and strong project management skills

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Mauren, but some travel may be required for site visits.
