We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move earth, rock and other materials. Your main goal will be to ensure safe and efficient operation of the excavator while meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Operate an excavator to dig, load and move earth, rock and other materials as per project requirements
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the excavator as needed
- Ensure safe operation of the equipment at all times according to company policies and industry regulations
- Collaborate with other construction workers and supervisors to complete projects within specific timelines
- Communicate effectively with team members about project progress and any issues that may arise
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures on job site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role
- Valid driver's license and experience operating heavy machinery is required
- Knowledge of excavation techniques, equipment functionality and safety protocols
- Physical ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time in various weather conditions
- Good communication skills with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends if necessary

Salary: $1700/month (Negotiable based on experience)
