Part-Time Heavy Equipment Operator for Biometric Passport Facility in Svalbard

We are in need of a part-time Heavy Equipment Operator for our Biometric Passport Facility located in Svalbard. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders to complete tasks related to the construction and maintenance of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Complete tasks in a timely manner and meet project deadlines
- Communicate with other team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operation of the facility

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Valid operator's license for the specific machinery being operated
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and manuals
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this part-time position.

Location:
This position is located at our Biometric Passport Facility in Svalbard. Though not a strict requirement, preference will be given to candidates who are already located or willing to relocate to Svalbard.
