Junior Pastry Chef


We are seeking a talented and passionate Junior Pastry Chef to join our team in Oslo. As a Junior Pastry Chef, you will assist the Head Pastry Chef in creating and preparing delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of our experienced pastry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for pastry making, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Pastry Chef in creating and preparing pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Bake, decorate, and present pastries in an appealing way
- Ensure high-quality standards are met for all pastries served
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Continuously learn new techniques and recipes from the Head Pastry Chef

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in a professional kitchen as a pastry chef or assistant pastry chef
- Degree or diploma in culinary arts or pastry making is preferred
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques and decorating methods
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
