Indian Chef

We are a renowned restaurant in Abu Dhabi looking for an experienced Indian Chef to join our team. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining food quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and a deep understanding of Indian cuisine. You must also possess excellent leadership skills to effectively manage the kitchen staff and maintain a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare traditional Indian dishes according to our menu
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with food quality standards
- Manage kitchen operations including inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality dishes
- Develop new menu items while keeping up with current food trends
- Monitor food costs and maintain budgetary guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Indian Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, cooking techniques, and ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus
- Must have legal authorization to work in Abu Dhabi.
