Filipino Chef


We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Filipino Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Al-Khor, Qatar. As a Filipino Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing traditional Filipino dishes as well as fusion cuisine, while ensuring high quality and presentation standards. You will work closely with the restaurant manager to develop menus and maintain inventory levels. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes. Knowledge of Filipino cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors is essential. Relevant culinary qualifications and previous experience working in a similar role is required. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$ per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook traditional Filipino dishes as well as fusion cuisine
- Ensure high quality and presentation standards for all dishes
- Work closely with the restaurant manager to develop menus
- Maintain inventory levels and order ingredients as needed
- Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety regulations
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste by utilizing efficient cooking methods
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and compliant with health codes
- Stay updated on current food trends in the industry

Requirements:
- Must be of Filipino nationality or have extensive knowledge of Filipino cuisine
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Chef in a professional kitchen
- Culinary qualifications or relevant training preferred
- Passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes
- Strong knowledge of Filipino cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (Arabic language skills are an advantage)
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to lead and train kitchen staff
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
