Carpenter - Residential Construction (Oslo, Norway)
We are a reputable construction company based in Oslo, Norway seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will work on various residential construction projects, using your expertise to build and repair structures, frames, and fixtures according to specifications. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month and includes accommodation and visa sponsorship for non-Norwegian nationals.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans to determine materials required and dimensions
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or marking gauges
- Cut and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass or drywall using hand or power tools
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings and trim according to specifications
- Inspect completed work to ensure that it meets quality standards
- Repair damaged or defective wooden structures by replacing damaged parts
- Operate woodworking machines including saws, jointers, planers and routers
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter in residential construction projects
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation
- Skilled in using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit with good manual dexterity
- Attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow safety procedures

Preferred Requirements:
- Vocational diploma or apprenticeship in Carpentry
- Experience working with various types of building materials
- Knowledge of building codes
